\u2018Twas the night before Christmas, and all through Z-Cuse
\nAll the Zombies were frozen; they stood like statues.<\/p>\n
They say for Christmas, there’s no place like home,
\nAnd with Zack frozen stiff, we’d be safe alone.<\/p>\n
The children were nestled back home in their beds,
\nAnd dreamt Santa would bring them shiny new ZEDs
\nAnd mamma with her shotgun, and I with my bat,
\nWere staying awake to make sure of that.
\nWhen out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
\nI ran to the window to see what was the matter.
\nAs I threw open the curtains, I didn’t believe what I saw,
\nThe icicles outside had started to thaw.<\/p>\n
Then what to my frightened eyes should appear,
\nBut a slow moving Zack, and eight thawing friends near.
\nWith a moan so low, and eyes so dead,
\nI knew in a moment I’d bash in his head.
\nI entered the yard, and took care of that ghoul,
\nThen I realized going home for Christmas, I was such a fool;
\nTransport wouldn’t come back for us until morning,
\nAnd this Christmas thaw came on without warning.<\/p>\n
I wouldn’t be able to stop them all by myself,
\nBack to the house I ran, blocking the door with a shelf.
\nI gathered my family, and moved them upstairs,
\nWe watched out a window and said silent prayers;
\nThe Zombies were moaning, that noise I can’t stand,
\nA dozen or so. For this, we had not planned.<\/p>\n
Then up the street, a Rumbler did head,
\nAnd riding on top was Slater with his ZED.
\nHe spoke not a word, but went straight to the killing,
\nWe all watched in awe. Seeing him fight was quite thrilling.
\nHis aim was superb, he never missed his mark,
\nAnd when they all dropped, he called to us in the dark:
\n“All’s clear now, my friend, time to go back home,
