  1. If we are going to allow mimes inside the Zone, I’m going to take the Walk.

Chuck used to be one of my favorite everyman characters. Now that I see that he wears facepaint and lipstick, not only will no one ever want to read about him again, but no one will ever want to be in his squad either.

I hate mimes more than I hate peeps and I hope the ghouls take every single one of them.

  2. The only one who calls Chuck Hookmime is the crazy dude. I just like the phrase. Since the crazy dude is my autobiographical character I decided to project what the character sees when he looks at Chuck.

Mimes are still shot on site. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. We can expand this idea out, and make designs for some of the recurring characters. Either design a logo for them, or make a design with a quote. Like Brooks’ response to “Who died and put you in charge?” “Central New York did.”

  4. Britz I will tell you before everyone yells at you like they did to me, you have to have perfect grammer, and punctuation, and yes spelling or you get yelled at.

(By Dave fore the most part.)

  5. From the Writing Guidelines:

We expect authors to conform to basic standards of written English
All sentences shall start with a capital and end with a period, even in comments.
Text abbreviations like lol are not welcome on the site.
    Names should always be capitalized.

Jared, I don’t believe there has been any yelling. We are a community of writers, and poor grammar/spelling mistakes stand out. All we ask is that you use your native language correctly. When you’re making posts/comments, we ask that you look at what you’ve typed afterwards to see if it makes sense. Some typos are easily fixed when re-reading. If your writing is full of errors, others will not take you seriously. People have not gotten jobs becasue they make typos in their resumes. Take your time, get your thoughts together about what you want to say, and then after typing, take a minute and look it over.

When we point out things in each other’s works that don’t make sense, we’re trying to help each other write better stories. If we have to spend all of our time pointing out the mis-use of “alot” then we can’t get to that point.

  6. I’ve just removed a bunch of comments from the site.

One didn’t fit the style of the site, which demands things like sentences and verbs.

The other deals with topics that weren’t (ahem) directly related to the graphic here. I was going for humor and all I got was a ton of fear that it would be taken out of context by the wrong people. Sorry for the imagery. I was using artistic symbolism.

As for my supposed yelling, Chris is right. If you can’t learn to fix your errors in usage, your stories, and by extension our website, will never get taken seriously by anyone.

  7. See I told you I was really just messin for the most part I know you guys are just trying to help, and it has I can usually if I am not tired type without misspelling anything.

I am sorry if I made anyone mad.
